Our Story

History

stgallen

Our community is the result of years of prayer and discussion among pastors and parishioners of St. Gallen’s state and free churches. During the summer of 2015, the Rev. Dr. Scotty J. Williams was called by the Evangelical-Reformed Church of St. Gallen to start an English worship gathering in the canton’s capital. In November of 2018 this gathering, named All Souls Protestant Church, became a Verein [Association] that ministers to English-speakers throughout Eastern Switzerland.

Our logo depicts our desire to gather people around Jesus in Word (Scripture) and Sacrament (Baptism and the Eucharist). The blue dots of different shades and sizes symbolize this gathering, and in making a Celtic cross they show that Church is when people from all walks of life come together in Jesus’ name.
